MEET THE TEAM

  • TREVOR HOWARD

    Trevor has a diverse background spanning engineering and real estate. With experience managing large-scale government projects constructing nuclear reactor structures and missile silos, his expertise in delivering complex solutions is unmatched.

    Born and raised in the Salem area, Trevor pursued his passion for physics while playing basketball at Linfield College. He later transferred to Oregon State University, graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering.

    Shortly after graduating college Trevor ventured into real estate investing, quickly realizing his innate passion for the industry and helping others succeed. While still working as an engineer, he obtained his real estate license and expanded his property portfolio while assisting clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Eventually, his passion led him to transition full-time into the real estate sector.

    By the age of 25 Trevor had accumulated a $15,000,000 real estate portfolio consisting of many asset types. Trevor had become well known in the field for his ability to analyze investments, structure deals creatively using different financing strategies, and solving complex real estate problems. This skill set led him to the creation of Vesta Solutions.

    In his free time Trevor enjoys mountain biking, playing tennis and basketball, catching up with friends, and attempting physical challenges. Some of those challenges include continuously hiking up and running down a 700’ hill to reach 29,029’ of elevation gain (equivalent to Mt. Everest), climbing South Sister, Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor in one go while running in-between them, attempting to run 100 miles, and attempting to break the 24 hour pull up record.

  • DANE MCKINNEY

    Dane was born in Texas, but his upbringing took place in Salem. Although his parents and siblings eventually returned to the South, Dane found his true sense of belonging in the Willamette Valley. The community, culture, and climate of the area were integral to his identity, making it a place he couldn't imagine leaving.

    During his time at Oregon State, Dane pursued a degree in Finance while working for a private wealth advisor, fulfilling his desire to explore the world of investments. However, he yearned to work with something more tangible while still being a sound investment. Thus, he co-founded a pest control business with some close friends. After two years, Dane realized that he needed to find a balance that aligned with his aspirations.

    That's when Dane made a deliberate decision to delve into the realm of commercial real estate, specializing in Multifamily investment properties. He chose this industry and asset class with the intent to assist others in achieving what he had done—learning to invest in tangible and scalable assets at an individual level. Dane's ultimate goal was to empower others to create wealth through investing in income-producing assets that they could directly impact. He aspired to forge meaningful connections with like-minded individuals who shared the desire to enrich the community they called home.

    Recognizing that mutually beneficial relationships with a common goal could bring positive change, Dane welcomed the opportunity to help others in their endeavors. He understood the importance of working together to make the community a better place for everyone involved. If anyone sought assistance in pursuing their investment dreams or contributing to the betterment of the community, Dane eagerly offered his support and expertise.

  • SABRINA JAMES

    As an Oregon native and an experienced Realtor, Sabrina James has a deep understanding of the Willamette Valley and a passion for all things real estate. With her background in both personal and investment properties, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Vesta Solutions' Buyer Support Specialist and In-House Broker.

    Sabrina’s real estate journey began at just 21, when she purchased her first property. Realizing how daunting the process could feel, she dedicated herself to learning everything she could, not only to enhance her own experience but to empower others. Driven by her commitment to help clients navigate their own real estate paths, Sabrina became a licensed Realtor in Oregon. Over the years, she expanded her knowledge into real estate investing, renting out her primary residence, and exploring strategies for both single-family and small multifamily properties. Through this experience, Sabrina recognized how real estate investment could unlock financial freedom and open doors to new opportunities.

    Today, Sabrina’s goal is to guide others on their real estate journey, whether they’re purchasing their first home, forever home, or expanding their investment portfolio. Understanding that real estate is often one of the largest financial decisions people make, she strives to be an informed and trusted advisor, offering clients the insight they need to make sound, confident choices. She dedicates time to understanding each client’s unique goals, ensuring she can provide personalized support and advocacy at every step of the transaction.

    In her free time, Sabrina enjoys exploring the beautiful Oregon landscape, learning about new investment strategies, and building meaningful connections within the community. She’s always eager to discuss real estate and help others find the path to their next property.

    James Westby is a dedicated and experienced loan officer who brings a personal passion for real estate investing and financial empowerment to every client interaction. His own journey into real estate began with an owner-occupied duplex, and since then, James has played a key role in helping countless individuals build and grow their rental property portfolios. Specializing in 1-4 unit loans and commercial lending, James combines his technical expertise with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities real estate investors face.

    As your loan officer, James’ mission is to "WOW" clients with exceptional communication, transparency, and responsiveness. He prides himself on earning the trust of his clients by making the mortgage process as seamless and educational as possible. Whether you're purchasing your first home, expanding your investment portfolio, or exploring creative financing options, James is committed to being an advisor and a guide throughout the entire process.

    What sets James apart is his value-first approach, always prioritizing the unique needs of his clients by offering tailored guidance and expert advice before requesting any applications or financial documents. He’s passionate about enhancing his clients' financial literacy, using every interaction as an opportunity to empower them with the knowledge and confidence to make sound financial decisions for the future. James enjoys diving into the details of loan scenarios, serving his clients with integrity, and spending time with his family.

    As the Marketing Director of Vesta Solutions, Avari Ridgway brings a results-oriented approach to strategic brand growth and client engagement. With an MBA, B.S in Marketing, and a background in business strategy, Avari specializes in crafting innovative marketing campaigns that connect with audiences and drive measurable results. Her expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and performance analysis has been instrumental in positioning Vesta Solutions as a leader in real estate investing.

    Avari combines her deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends to develop tailored strategies for each campaign. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on data-driven decision-making, she excels in aligning marketing initiatives with organizational goals to ensure sustainable growth. Her passion for creativity and problem-solving drives her commitment to delivering impactful and meaningful results for Vesta Solutions and its clients.

    Outside of work, Avari enjoys spending time with her family, playing beach volleyball, golf, and pickleball, and going on walks with her chocolate lab, Trigg.
